Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Extended Support is Ending!

On July 9, 2019, extended support will end for SQL Server 2008 and 2008 R2. This means that you’ll no longer get security updates, hotfixes, or professional support from Microsoft.

If you run SQL Server 2008 or 2008 R2 after the end of support, you could risk a data breach. Your operations and maintenance costs could rise and you may find yourself in violation of compliance, which could incur a fine.

Our recommendation is to migrate to SQL Server 2016 before extended support expires. If you would like to migrate to the newest version, contact your sales representative, call us at 888-843-1476, or email us at sales@tamretail.com.
